Victoria Bound

In September we made our annual voyage out to Victoria to visit Josh’s Mom and Dad. This being the first year Rylie could walk and take advantage of the beach, check out the tide pools, explore, and otherwise get dirty.

Grandma and Grandpa had us out everyday collecting shells, exploring secluded beaches, eating ice cream, petting goats, and hanging in beach log cabins. An awesome trip as always. We didn’t get out on Grandpas sailboat, maybe next summer.

After our visit in Victoria, we borrowed the van and headed west to rainy Tofino. Our second visit, and Rys first, but it was awesome. Drank coffee in the rain, hiked to small secluded beaches through the rain (and rain forest), surfed in the rain, and played on the beach in the rain. Yeah it rained a lot, but we stayed in a great airbnb, and enjoyed the rain. We’ll definitely be back.
