KAP Photography

Our Revelstoke friends Kirk and KL + crew dropped in to visit us and meet our little lady. KL is an awesome professional photographer, who specializes in wedding and family photography. We had a great visit, and the kids attempted to maximize the capacity of Ry’s princess tent, it was bursting at the seams as they attempted to jam everything imaginable in. This included a shopping cart, play car, horse, pillows and much much more. Sorry no pictures. She took a few impromptu shots of our family, so we thought we’d share… All photos below are courtesy of KAP Photography (www.kapphotography.net).

After a visit and snacks we hit the local park for swing, slid and green flog time.

Trip to Kimberley

This past week we made the one hour journey to the mountain town of Kimberley BC to visit with our friends from Cranbrook. First stop, Mexican food, yes Mexican food, are you listening Invermere BC. We need Mexican fish tacos!!!

Afterwards, we had originally planned to hit up the Kimberley climbing centre, but the kids seemed content to climb on the rocks in the square. After a cruise through town, and thumbing through a second hand shop, it was time for goodbyes.

Winter Planning

In other news, we are in the process of planning our next big adventure; a trip to New Zealand and Australia this winter. The girls will be 3.5 and 9 months, so we’re trying to avoid thinking about the flight to consider everything else first. We’ve got our names pinned on a cruise from Sydney to Seattle for the ride home just to avoid it… Ok, maybe we think it will be cool to see some of the pacific ports along the way. Our next big decision is camper/RV versus rental homes and b and b’s….. We’re leaning towards a travel trailer!
