We arrived in the Capitol of Bratislava in early afternoon, so after checking in at our well priced posh pad we headed out to explore in the sunshine at 25 degrees. We stopped for the best ice cream ever and parked on a bench in a little lazy square where others enjoyed the same pleasures. We meandered through the old town at a warm weather pace, then along the river and through a new mall back “home” to rest our feet. For hockey is on the tube at 7 in old town square, and we all know that it’s most prudent we get to watch it over a Slovak meal and worldly beer.

And now we sit watching the Canada Vs Swiss game (Josh) and people watching (me) drinking a beer (him) and an iced tea (me), something’s never change! ; ) there’s an Australian boy band playing in the square behind us, and euro chain smokers all around us. It’s warm, t-shirt weather and cozy under the shady awning.
