After hiking with our giant bags for about a km, we hopped a little city tram two stops to the Hertz car rental in Zurich.
Now, we’re on our way, ripping down the autobahn in the mid slow lane. Grandma just passed us going for groceries in her VW passing us at Mach 5. We’re doing 140 at times, but apparently that’s slow lane material. Don’t look away from your curved side mirrors for long or you’ll have a black hatch Audi or Mercedes snorting up your rear.
Stopping for German wieners for lunch we struggled with language already, and have taken a liking to gassy water. Back in the car, josh asks for gum, and I confirm with questioning if he has “the wurst breath”. Teehee.
