So, we sit waiting for the transfer to the airport, a successful 3 weeks of nonstop moving and seeing. It was an easy trip overall, no real obstacles to note in finding things, getting lost, or general travel struggles. I think our past experiences help more and more each time. I think the biggest challenge this time after switching so many currencies was the range of very foreign languages. We do pretty well with Spanish, French and Italian, but the real eastern languages and German are not really close to anything else we know. Makes me want to brush up on lots of languages, because I hate not being able to communicate. It’s neat when people switch from one to another language! Might have to live in Europe for a while one day.
